Advance Your Night Sky Post-Processing

May 13 – 15, 2024

Are you ready to take the next step in processing your night landscapes? Join us in Grand Junction, Colorado, for a course in post-processing night-time scenes with starry skies! The course will include lessons in Lightroom and Photoshop. This comprehensive course includes lessons in preparing files for making beautiful prints on metal or acrylic.

This three-day course will be taught in a private and comfortable conference room. In addition to comprehensive classroom instruction, we’ve planned for a night shoot in the nearby Colorado National Monument. This will allow everyone to create the files necessary to complete the essential steps in the lessons. This course also includes a 20×24″ custom acrylic print made by our favorite lab, New Mexico Fine Art. Lunch is included in the hotel dining room.

While lodging is not included in this workshop, we have held a block of ten rooms at the DoubleTree Hotel. Just let us know if you would like us to reserve one when you register. To get the most from this course, you should be at an intermediate (or greater) level in Lightroom, comfortable managing your files, and using the tools and controls in the Develop module. Prior experience with Photoshop is not required. If this describes you, this is an excellent opportunity to learn the intricacies of night sky processing and fine art printmaking!

*Anyone who would like to spend more time perfecting their low-light night photography can register for the workshop preceeding this one Wild Utah!
